1. Object
These General Conditions of Sale (CGV) define the rights and obligations of VLC Vacances Rental Corse as well as users (tenants and owners) as part of the reservation of goods offered on the platform.
VLC Vacances Rental Corse acts only as a platform for connecting owners and tenants, without being part of the rental contract concluded between them.
We do not act as a real estate agent within the meaning of the Hoguet law (n ° 70-9 of January 2, 1970) and do not make any regulated real estate transaction.
2. Services offered
The platform allows:
To owners: to publish an ad for an available property for seasonal rental in Corsica,
To tenants: to reserve a proposed property.
VLC Vacances Rental Corse provides a technical connection interface and a secure payment solution via Stripe.
3. Reservation process
The tenant selects a property, chooses his dates, and proceeds to the reservation via an online form.
The reservation is considered to be firm and final after payment of the full amount due.
By validating his reservation, the tenant acknowledges having read and accepted these general conditions of sale, as well as the specific conditions linked to the rented property (internal regulations, schedules, etc.).

4. Price and payment
The prices of goods are indicated in euros including tax.
Payment of the stay is made online via Stripe, a provider in accordance with PCI-DSS standards.
The paid amount includes:
The rent of the good,
VLC Vacation Corsican Vacation Service costs (Commission).
5. Sequestration and redistribution of funds
Payment is kidnapped on a secure Stripe Connect account until the end of the stay.
After validation of the stay without a dispute reported, VLC Vacances Rental Corse donates the share due to the owner within 7 days after the date of departure, deduction of the commission of 15 % including tax.
Using the site, tenants and owners expressly accept this sequestration and redistribution mechanism of payments.
5.1 Cancellations and refunds
Any reservation is firm after confirmation.
Cancellation conditions :
1. Up to
100% reimbursed arrival .
The customer can cancel or modify without cost.2. Deadline authorized by VLC
7 days after the Customer's reservation
can cancel or modify their dates free of charge, unless the reservation takes place within 7 days of the reservation date (emergency case).3. From 59 to 7 days before arrival
30% of the total amount is kept:
• 15% for VLC
• 15% for the owner
The remaining 70% is reimbursed.4. Less than 7 days before arrival until D -Day
The Customer has a maximum of 48 hours to request a change.
No refund is authorized, except in cases of force majeure validated with proof.
No refund will be granted outside the deadlines specified above.

VLC Vacances Rental Corse does not intervene in disputes relating to cancellations.
5.2 Payment account management policy (ACCT)
1. Exclusive responsibility for VLC
VLC reserves the exclusive right to manage all the Stripe payment accounts (ACCT), whether they are:
• Connect / onboarding
• priority / administrators
This management also includes owners' accounts.
2. Owners' access
The owners have reading access alone to their stripe dashboard to follow their operations.
In any case, they have the right to make transfers to their personal accounts, the legal responsibility fully incumbent on VLC.
3. Infractions and sanctions
• 1ʳᵉ offense: VLC issues an official warning to the owner concerned.
• 2ᵉ offense: VLC reserves the right to:
• Delete or modify the owner's Stripe account,
• Remove your property from the platform, in accordance with CGU.
5.3 Payment period of owner credits
The payments (credits) made on the accounts of the owners are subject to the following conditions:
• Funds are credited 7 days after the end of the customer's stay .
• This period applies except in the case of force majeure or exceptional situation duly justified and validated by VLC.
This mechanism aims to guarantee the proper execution of the reservation and to protect all the parties concerned.
If the tenant does not appear on the scheduled arrival date, the reservation will be considered as canceled and VLC will be able to re -turn the property.
No refund will be granted outside the deadlines specified above, without exception , including in the event of unforeseen events or force majeure.

VLC Vacances Rental Corse does not intervene in disputes relating to cancellations.
5.3 Bond management
VLC Vacation Rental Corse does not intervene in any case in the management of guarantees or warranty deposits . As a connection platform, we are neither responsible nor guarantors of funds related to a deposit .
The legal responsibility for the management, the verification of the premises and the return of a possible deposit of the guarantee is exclusively the owner or the concierge in charge of the property .
6. No right of withdrawal
In accordance with article L221-28 of the Consumer Code , the right of withdrawal does not apply to the provision of accommodation services provided on a date or according to a determined periodicity.
Consequently, the tenant does not benefit from any right of withdrawal after validation of his reservation. However, it retains the possibility of canceling its reservation according to the terms specified in these GTC.

VLC Vacances Rental Corse is not a party to the rental contract concluded between the owner and the tenant.
Our responsibility is strictly limited to the connection and technical management of payments.
We cannot be held responsible in particular:
Quality, conformity or the state of the rented property,
Of the execution or non-execution of the rental,
Any complaint relating to the stay (cancellation, degradation, dispute, etc.).
The owner is solely responsible for the conformity, security and availability of the property offered for rental.
In no case can VLC Vacation Rental Corse be held responsible for any indirect damage , loss of luck , financial or commercial damage , resulting from the use or impossibility of using the platform.
8. Lost or forgotten objects
VLC Vacances Rental Corse declines any responsibility in the event of loss, oblivion, theft or deterioration of personal objects belonging to the tenant or to any person staying in the rented property, whether during or after the length of the stay.
It is up to the tenant to carefully check the good before his departure.
In the event of discovery of an object forgotten by the owner, the tenant may make a return request within 15 days of the departure date , by e-mail at: vlc@vacances-location-corse.fr
Shipping or return costs will be the exclusive responsibility of the tenant .
VLC is in no way responsible for the conservation, the routing or the loss of these objects, even if it accepts as a graceful basis of facilitating its restitution.
9. User obligations
Users are committed to providing accurate and complete information when registering and booking.
They recognize using the platform under their exclusive responsibility.
10. Personal data
Personal data is collected and processed in accordance with the GDPR and our privacy policy.

11. Applicable law and competent jurisdiction
These GTC are governed by French law .
Any dispute will be subject to an attempted amicable resolution.
